Animal Cruelty Investigation Unit
We are proud to support the Animal Cruelty Investigation Unit (ACIU). Edmonton Police officers purchase food from us and a portion of their purchases are donated. In 2022-2023 we donated $980.00.

The ACIU is the first of its kind implemented by a law enforcement agency in Canada.
Research has proven that violence towards animals and people are often interconnected and is described as “The Violence Link”. The Edmonton Police Service recognizes this connection and that is why they take all concerns of intentional harm to animals or cases of severe neglect extremely seriously.
You can also donate to this cause. Donations to ACIU go through the Edmonton Police Foundation who will issue a tax receipt for your donation.
Berkeley's Place
Berkeley's Place has been helping animals since 2014. Since then, they have collected and donated over 396,000 lbs of food, raised over $90,000, helped 65 individual rescue organizations and all of that work helps to save over 20,000 animals per year.
We are proud to support Berkeley's.
In 2023 we donated $600 in food for Chewie who survived the fires in Northern Alberta. Chewie came in to care with 3rd degree burns to all of his feet and parts of his body. He needed a healthy diet to heal and we were very happy to help.
